Traditional Wholewheat Chapati


1 cup of wholewheat, spelt or rye flour (approximately 140g)
A pinch of salt
Approximately 60ml warm water


Sift and stir together flour and salt, add water and knead to create dough, split into balls and roll flat with a rolling pin. Place the flat dough onto a cast iron skillet or frying pan for approximately 1 min each side.
