Welcome to Bay
I'm Hannah - I live in Bath with my husband and family. I’m an Ayurvedic consultant, a Yoga teacher and keen writer.
Here’s where I share my passion and expertise of two fascinating sciences: Ayurveda and Yoga.
We all want to be happy and healthy but conflicting modern approaches can be completely overwhelming. There’s so much information it’s hard to know what’s what.
Ayurveda is different. Once you have a basic understanding of Ayurveda you can work most things out for yourself - like what’s best for you and your family.
How well do you know yourself?
Yoga - for body and mind
Yoga is an exercise system but there’s also an entire science and philosophy to Yoga too - one that can bring about a powerful transformation of life.
Inner Bay focuses on what you can do to help yourself - all the practical techniques needed to get started with an Ayurvedic lifestyle.
Ayurveda uses simple, natural ways to improve health - these are often easy, inexpensive things we can try for ourselves at home.
Even though this cleanse only takes a day it’s worth taking plenty of time to gather together all the ingredients and prepare for the day. Keeping a food diary for a few days before you start is also a good idea to bring about awareness of your existing diet and improvements that could be made after the cleanse.
Appreciating our own body is so important for a positive self-image and for developing healthy relationships with our other people too.
Ghee has extraordinary healing properties in Ayurveda. Ghee increases digestive strength and improves absorption and assimilation of nutrients. Ghee nourishes the brain and nervous system. Ghee acts as a vehicle for carrying herbs to the deepest tissues in the body while lubricating all connective tissue and maintaining flexibility in the body.
